【業務内容】 （１）研究 ヨーロッパ史（中近世史または近現代史）および関連分野における研究の実施とその成果発表 （２）教育 ・社会学部３・４年生および大学院社会学研究科の必修ゼミナールの担当 ・社会学部、および大学院社会学研究科の選択科目の担当（ヨーロッパ史総論、ヨーロッパ史特論、史料講読（ヨーロッパ）など） ・博士論文・修士論文・学士論文指導 （３）入試関連業務並びに全学および研究科における各種委員会業務等 Hitotsubashi University is one of Japan's leading research institutions, specializing in social sciences and humanities. The Graduate School of Social Sciences conducts advanced, interdisciplinary research and education across both the social sciences and humanities. We are recruiting a lecturer (tenure-track) specializing in European history. Job content (1) Research Undertaking research in European history and related areas and publishing the results. (2) Teaching Teaching compulsory undergraduate (third and fourth grades) and postgraduate seminars. Teaching selective subjects. (Hitory of Europe, Studies in History of Europe, Readings in History Sources (Europe) etc.) Supervising undergraduate, master’s and doctoral dissertations. (3) Admissions-related duties |

博士号（Ph.D.）取得者、または取得見込みの者（着任時までに博士号を取得する必要あり） 【業務経験】 ① ヨーロッパ史について、複数の人文・社会科学的な方法論を用いて調査研究を行った経験またはそれに相当する能力を有することが望ましい。 ② 外国語による学術論文の執筆経験またはそれに相当する能力を有すること。 ③ 日本語による日常業務（学内の事務的なコミュニケーションなど）の遂行が可能であること。 Possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, or be close to completing one. The doctorate must be awarded before the successful candidate takes up the position. It is desirable to have experience of conducting research using multiple methods, or to be able to demonstrate the equivalent capability. It is required to have published academic articles in non-Japanese language, or to be able to demonstrate the equivalent capability. It is required to have sufficient competence in Japanese to function in a Japanese working environment, for example, communicating with administrative staff and reading documents in Japanese. |

| 選考方法 Selection | 一次審査（書類審査）のうえ、二次審査（面接、2025年9月下旬から10月初旬を予定）を行います。
一次審査合格者には、追って面接日時等をお知らせします。なお、旅費等は自己負担となりますのでご了承ください（ただし、日本国外在住などで面接のために来校が困難な場合は、二次審査をオンラインで実施することも可能です。応募時に申請ください）。 二次面接では、提出書類に基づいた質疑応答と、模擬講義（提出したシラバスに基づき20分程度）を行っていただきます。 採否の結果は、応募者すべてにメールにて通知いたします。 応募書類はすべて当方にて責任を持って廃棄いたします。 障がいのある方は、事前にご相談ください。 一橋大学では、男女共同参画を積極的に推進しており、業績評価において同等と認められた場合には、女性を積極的に採用します。 Candidates who pass the initial screening (document review) will be interviewed in late September or early October 2025. We will notify all candidates of the result of their application by email. Please note that candidates will be responsible for their own travel expenses.
