Undergraduate

Most faculty at the Graduate School also teach undergraduate courses in a wide range of social sciences and humanities, including anthropology, education, gender studies, global studies, philosophy, political science, social geography, social history, social policy, social psychology, sociology, and sports studies.

Together with providing specialized knowledge applicable in the real world, the Faculty strives to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, inventive imagination, human values and an international orientation.

Graduates of our Faculty go on to have careers in various areas of life such as journalism, private companies, government organizations, NGOs, NPOs, and research institutions, in both Japan and worldwide.
