The Graduate School of Social Sciences has two academic divisions - Social Sciences and Global Issues - which, while being organically integrated in the curriculum, offer different approaches to social and cultural themes and issues.

The Graduate School offers courses in a wide range of social sciences and humanities, including anthropology, education, gender studies, global studies, philosophy, political science, sociology, social geography, social history, social policy, social psychology, and sports studies.
